Sunlight

A little ray of sunlight has fallen on my floor
And splashed across the puppy
And stirred up quite a snore.

A little ray of sunlight has found an empty space
To twist and dance and shimmer
And dust warmth upon my face.

A little ray of sunlight has somehow found a way
To touch my heart with gladness
And to brighten up my day!
